The vast majority of the flowers were from local California and Oregon growers. The bridal bouquet consisted of in season flowers including deep purple lisianthus, sweet smelling tuberose, white dendrobium orchid, and orange safflower with accents of purple-blue misty and queen anne's lace. Seeded eucalyptus was used as a greenery to enhance the flowers and create a nice full base. We steered away from roses which are usually imported and require heavy pesticide use, which are commonly found at weddings. The bride’s bouquet served two purposes as it became the display on the alter after being carried by the bride down the aisle. |
